I have been using these reels for years when I was a diesel mechanic. Always performed perfectly. They are a commercial grade reel And expensive for home use but you will never complain about a defective Cox reel;

I've used these at work for years. I've long wanted one for my own use at home, but I wasn't impressed with offerings from the big box stores and to order one of these from an MRO supplier like Grainger or McMaster-Carr is ridiculously expensive. Finally pulled the trigger on this one and so far I'm satisfied with it. It took a few tries to get the spring set to retract the entire length of hose correctly, but it's ready to work now.;

I bought this reel in August 2019. Literally a week ago, I had to put a clamp on the input hose at the reel. It was the first "problem" I've had with it. I have it mounted outside my shop, so, it's exposed to the weather. I spray it down with lithium grease every 3-4 months. I've really abused this thing and it's held up...so I'm not sure what happen with the ones that folks are saying are junk. The one I got is working just fine.;

I'd had this for about 2 months so can't say much about durability (that's why rated 3 stars. Seems to look like it will last long since the sun will not be beating on it all day long. Mounting on concrete wall was easy. Have good retractable motion. Hose is thinner than a regular one.;

Easy to install, no more coiled hose, no leaks, adaptors went on easily.;
